Pics for the handgun I bought at a Baton Rouge Gun & Knife show last month. It’s a Taurus PT111 Millennium Pro 9mm. Saj took the pictures.

Thanks Nolan. So far I like it. It’s compact size is great for concealed carry, which I’ll do when I get my permit.

I’ve only test-fired it once so far, at my parents’ camp while the neighbors were away, and there were some problems. 3 FTEs out of two full mags, that’s 3 failures to extract out of 24 rounds. Too many. Basically, they stovepiped (got stuck halfway in the chamber as the slide moved forward.

I’m planning on going to a shooting range this weekend. Hopefully, the problem won’t persist. It may just be that the gun needs to be broken in. Some do. Or it could have been the ammo (Monarch Luger 115 GR full metal jacket). If the problem persists I’ll send it back to Taurus to have them fix it.

I’ll post a more detailed review later, once I get a chance to put a lot more ammunition through it.

By the way, as a pre-emptive strike before anyone else mentions it, my grip is horrible in that last picture.
